The work presented by Evy Bosman (1975, Dendermonde) are wall sculptures which were constructed from drawings and drawing remains. These sculptures are inspired and based on primitive forms such as masks, trophies, totems, … Her basic interest in these "primitive" or basic attitude of man also reflects on her way of working in the studio. The work process is not immediate product-oriented, it starts from a physical, motorically, drawing action. The following processes are more like a kind of hunting, a physical action with the drawing remains which results in the sculptural forms she presents.
